Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the maiden major honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he previously was, and would definitely contemplate lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
